EZ Dr 2 external Samples drive issue

I just installed EZ Drummer 2.

It’s working fine and all looks good but there are no new kits installed. I can see the cocktail kit and also the extra kits I purchased such as Electronic, Pop!, Latin percussion etc.

I cannot see the default kit or any of the new kits that came with EZ Drummer 2.

Now, I think I know why this is. It’s because I have my EZ drummer sounds on a separate SSD drive and those are the ones which ARE appearing in EZ Drummer 2.

What is the best/easiest way to get the new ones to appear? Can I copy the folder in the finder? Use Soundmover? If so how?

You will find the new presets in the Preset Menu on the top of EZdrummer 2. If you select “EZdrummer 2 Modern” and “EZdrummer 2 Vintage” you’ll see all the new presets. These presets will change both mixer settings with effects and drum kits.
To find the kits – right click on any of the drum parts (the snare for example) to open Instrument Properties. There is a menu button on the right side called “Kit”. There are all the kits listed. Select any of them and you’ll change the entire kit.

But that doesn’t help me at all I’m afraid. The only kits appearing in the kit preset list are:

Cocktail
Electronic
Jazz
Latin Percussion
Pop!

This is definitely something to do with what I mentioned in my initial post

what is the path to the folder on your SSD drive, does it contain any unusual character?

The name of the drive contains a space: It’s called Fast Samples

Could that cause an issue?

All fixed. I removed a broken alias and did an uninstall and re-install and all is working nicely!
