I tried to change kits in both standalone and Vst version today. Kits loading for a ridiculous amount of time. Paths are good, updates are current. Is this something with an obvious(to anyone but me) fix?
Hi,
it could be other processes running at the same time, the hard drive, etc. Have you changed or updated anything else recently? Some kind of maintenance running in the background or AntiVirus?
How long did it take earlier? When did it change? Have you rebooted?
For me it takes a couple of seconds to switch Presets but I have an SSD drive on a pretty new MacBook Pro.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Nothing has changed on my end. Just my EZ Bass & Drums taking forever to load. I’ll keep looking for an answer.
OK,
are the libraries on an internal or external drive?
Have you run any diagnostics on the drive?
BR,
John

No sir. Everything is local. It is weird because it is only Toontrack stuff doing it. Eazy Keys works fine? I dunno. At this point it is simply an inconvenience, not the end of the world. I like the products enough not to lose my mind over it. Thanks again.

What are the specs of the system you are running on? Specifically RAM, also as John asked, are your samples store on external drives?
Have you rebooted your machine since you started having this issue (if not, please do).
Could you bring up Windows Task Manager before you try changing presets and see if anything looks pinned (CPU, Memory, Disk @ 90%-100%) when you are changing presets?
I’m only running Windows 10 on an Intel based Macbook Pro under VMWare, but still not experiencing anything like this.
Mac Studio M1 Max, RAM 64 GB, 1TB Drive, OSX 12.x/13.x and Windows 10 (VM)
DAW: Studio One Pro (always up to date)
DTX Express III (Extreme triggers), Nektar LX88
OWC Thunderbay Mini (4 X 1TB Sata SSD), Express 4M2 (4 X 2TB M.2 SSD), Envoy Express (1TB M.2 SSD)
Presonus Quantum, Faderport & Faderport 8
Black Lion Sparrow Mk2 A/D, FMR-RNP-RNC, MIDI Xpress 128, BM5A, KRK VXT4, Equator D5
2020 Macbook Pro 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD Audio(mobile rig)
Did you ever find a solution to this?
I find I have to sit here clicking on the drums frantically to force the system to load the sounds, but I am right around 5-10 minutes for them all to load.
I have 32 GB of DDR4 RAM, all my disks are high speed SSD drives, my system cannot possibly be the problem as literally no other software loads anything this slowly.
