So, I have a song in EZ Keys in A major. I drag this song into the drums and keys tab and Select to match the playing, not just the left hand. EZ Bass is not reading the chord changes or the song sections. It says the entire song is in Am, no song sections. (intro, verse, chorus, etc.) Has anyone experienced this? I’m having a bunch of glitches in different ways so far.

Hi Billy – if you use the drop down menu and say Export to Current Song Track or Add Midi Selection on Song Track all you will get is the MIDI added – if you actually click and drag from the window where it says Left Hand or Rhythm and Chords this will pull in the chord changes from your EZKeys session as well. It doesn’t recognise sections per se but does follow the MIDI from EZKeys so if you Verse and Chorus sections are very different piano parts the bass will follow them

Thanked by: Billy 86Wow. That worked! I’ve read the part of the manual that covers this area of operation, and it doesn’t say anything about the distinction you point out. Just, wow! I’ve wasted so much time on this and have been totally frustrated. What a simple thing. Yo, Toontrack, update the manual with this little tidbit.
Thanks, James!
Edit: a couple hours later, and I’m so stoked at the performance tweaks that are possible when that single piece of info provided the key to opening up possibilities. Thanks again.
