Hi Billy – if you use the drop down menu and say Export to Current Song Track or Add Midi Selection on Song Track all you will get is the MIDI added – if you actually click and drag from the window where it says Left Hand or Rhythm and Chords this will pull in the chord changes from your EZKeys session as well. It doesn’t recognise sections per se but does follow the MIDI from EZKeys so if you Verse and Chorus sections are very different piano parts the bass will follow them

Wow. That worked! I’ve read the part of the manual that covers this area of operation, and it doesn’t say anything about the distinction you point out. Just, wow! I’ve wasted so much time on this and have been totally frustrated. What a simple thing. Yo, Toontrack, update the manual with this little tidbit.

    Thanks, James!

Edit: a couple hours later, and I’m so stoked at the performance tweaks that are possible when that single piece of info provided the key to opening up possibilities. Thanks again.

I think the video in the Drums & Keys Tab manual section shows that using the Export to Current Song Track only imports the MIDI to the Song Track and not the chord changes.
