EZ Bass Keyboard Shortcuts don’t work in Logic Pro

Hi All,

New to the forum. Didn’t see a search function on this forum to search for my issue so I’m starting a new thread. Sorry if this has been covered already. The keyboard shortcuts in EZ Bass do not function independently in Logic Pro. Every time I use one in EZ Bass it triggers a function in Logic. Is there a way to have them function separately? Thanks

EZbass version: 1.1.7
Operating system: macOS Catalina (10.15)

Hi,

go to Settings > Keyboard Shortcuts in EZbass and check that ‘Enable keyboard shortcuts in DAWs’ is enabled.

Then the assigned shortcuts should work when the EZbass plug-in window is in focus. If it isn’t in focus, the key strokes pass on to Logic, which in certain cases can be “dangerous” especially if you use Undo with Cmd+Z.

Thanks for the info, John. That setting was enabled. Logic has dominated most of the key commands so I’ve had to get creative using different key combinations to work with EZ Bass only. It’s not very convenient to my workflow but I’ve been able to make them work.
