I created a MIDI track in my DAW (Studio One) – simple chords in Bbm, one chord per measure, held notes – a very simple track. I set EZ Bass to Bbm as the key. When I imported the MIDI track, it did some strange things. First, it broke up some of the measures in unexpected ways, so rather than one chord per measure, it was giving me two (identical) chords, often with the second chord extending into the next measure – so I had to resize chords to get the timing right. Second, it transposed everything up a half step, so I had to change the key in EZ Bass to Am to get the chords to sound properly.
Not sure if these are bugs or if I’m doing something wrong.
I’m not sure about your first issue. Would like to see it. The second issue is try selecting No Transpose before dragging anything to the EZBass Song Track.

I tried “No Transpose” no luck. I’m not sure I’m doing it correctly. I’m in Studio One, I have the Key set as Bbm in Studio One and in EZBass. I take a MIDI file from my keyboard track – just one chord per measure, simple chords. Transfer it over and it changes the key. The screen looks like your screen cap (but showing Bbm checked in each column).
