EZ Bass as an upright???

I am wondering if there is a way to have...

I am wondering if there is a way to have EZ Bass get close to the sound of an upright? For some reason the sound of an upright is just so organic that I would love to have it as an option.

Yes, yes, yes!!

Blues, Rockabilly, Jazz, Bluegrass, folk…all require an upright, acoustic bass!

I especially second the earlier Willie Dixon request, and will raise you Bill Black, Ransom Knowling, Ray Brown, and Milt Hinton!!

I will buy every related variation of upright acoustic bass the moment it (they) is (are) available!!

Doesn’t the Fretless bass EBX kind of get you there…?

It does, if a fretless bass does the job for you.
I checked with Support, and the long glides/slides are separate (midi) notes, like the original EZBass, so it doesn’t do that kind of upright technique (yet).

I’m still hoping for a genuine EZBass Upright.

Something with a smooth Ray Brown tone and a Rockabilly sound and technique and some slaps and thumps and maybe some bowing…while I’m wishing away.

And I’ll buy it the day it comes out too!
