Hi.
I’m running EZ 2 through Pro Tools 10.3 with M Box 2 interface. I have loaded both 32 & 64 bit versions however when a previously recorded song using EZ 1 is loaded I get a red triangle and a message stating that EZ 2 is not running at full capacity so not all features are available and a systems crash occurs when a new plug in, eg Amplitube, is added. Equally when I load a new session adding EZ 2, any attempt to add another plug results in a system crash even before any recording started. Previously I could use many plug ins as well as EZ 1 and have no crash problems.
My PC is installed with Intel Dual Core i5 1155 2.9Ghz processor 16GB Corsair DDR3 1333 Ram,120GB Agility 3 SSD-SATA 111 Drive Pailt Geforce GTS 450 1gb DDR3 Pci GFX Card, Windows 7 Professional 64bit.
Any answers?
Thanks, Nigel.
Hi,
which version number is displayed in the plugin interface in Pro Tools?
Even if you run PT 10 in a 64-bit environment, it is still a 32-bit application, so it’s fairly easy to hit the RAM limit, even though it doesn’t seem like the case from what you are describing.
Which sample rate are you working at? What are your Session parameters and Playback Engine Settings?

Hi John.
The Version of Pro Tools is 10.3.1 with a 32 bit limit, I presume. The HW Buffer Size is 1024. Host Processors 4. No delay compression applied. CPU usage 85% and the plug in streaming buffer size set at level 2.
I have just ordered an M Box Pro with PT 10, 11, and 12 upgrade. Once this is up and running will my existing EZ 2 instillation automatically work in the PT 11 environment which is a 64 bit application, and if download EZ1 again will this work in the 64 bit environment.
Thanks,
Nigel Moore.
Hi,
if you have installed the latest 32-bit and 64-bit updates, EZdrummer 2 should automatically work in PT 11 and PT 12.

Hi John.
Will EZ drummer 1 work in the 64 bit environment of PT 11-12? I really like the Slingerland snare.
Thanks,
Nigel

Yes. The latest version of EZD1 (1.4.0) update contains both 32-bit and 64-bit updates.
