Exporting MIDI doesn’t capture cymbal chokes

Hi, I’ve exported my song from the EZDrummer GUI to MIDI. Cymbal chokes don’t appear anywhere in the exported MIDI file, and the cymbals continue to ring. How can I get cymbal chokes to export properly to MIDI?

 

Here are the last three hits shown in the EZDrummer GUI, and the corresponding last three hits in the exported MIDI file. As you can see, only Hi-Hat closed exports as a MIDI note, whereas the Cymbal chokes don’t appear.

EZdrummer version: 3.0.6
Operating system: macOS Ventura (13)

Keep the midi in EZ for that. Or you must use the Muted Hit articulation which is limiting with timing the choke and velocity. That Choke Lane is not standard/typical midi.

I assume someone will correct me if I’m wrong. I don’t think there’s a fix for your exact situation though.
