Hi  I guess that your midiplayer isn’t mapped the right way when playing back the superior miditrack. I mean they don’t speak the same language .

I was under the impression that midi was the universal language across all midi devices.

So hypothetically, if the tambourine groove is a performance using midi notes 3,4 & 5 to trigger a tambourine, then exporting that midi region should export a performance using midi notes 3,4 & 5. Then if I play that using the midi player it should play a performance of midi notes 3,4 & 5 thereby triggering superior drummer to play midi notes 3,4 &5 which is mapped to tambourine. Isn’t that how its supposed to work?

If you have a keyboard and you make a midi performance, then use that midi to trigger another keyboard, would you expect the notes to be different?

I’m saying this in order to layout my thought process in case I am making an incorrect assumption along the way, thanks!

    Hi,
I think what derilja means is that there seems to be some kind of translating/re-mapping going on.

It could be that you have an active MIDI Preset in your MIDI In/E-drums Settings, is that a correct assumption?
