Is there a way to export the E-Drums midi maps in Superior Drummer to use with other drum sampling software? I have a Yamaha DTX502 kit I’m using the Yamaha DTX 500 Series preset with Superior Drummer. I want to try playing another sampling kit that I’m using with Kontakt but I can’t figure out how to get the midi mapped correctly for the E-kit so the playing experience is as seamless as with Superior Drummer. Is there an easy way to do this?
Yes. Vice versa as well.
you just drag the midi files in superior drummer to a midi track in your DAW and then assign to whichever drum machine you’d like. Some plug ins / samplers have the same instrument assignments as the toontrack gear. Some you have to adjust a few instruments.
In kontakt “studio drummer” and other kontakt drum plugs, there is a setting for what machine you want to be styled for. Superior drummer is one of the options. This way the instrument assignments line up correctly.
All of this points out the 2 different methods of midi implementation in superior drummer;
Method 1 utilizes the built in midi mapper and grid editor in superior drummer.
Method 2 is when you just drag out the grooves and midi data to a midi track in your DAW. There are advantages and disadvantages to both methods.

I don’t mean midi files, I mean like the e-drums preset like “Yamaha DTX500 series” etc. I’m looking for a way to play some of my Kontakt libraries live with my e-kit, not get them to play a midi track that’s already been recorded.
So you don’t want to use superior drummer in the chain?
Whats the question? Is the question how I trigger my kontakt drum with my e drums ? Whats that have to do with superior drummer?

Superior Drummer 3 version: 3.2.8
Operating system: macOS Big Sur (11)
User presets can be located with “Manage in Finder”. Are they in a format that could be imported into Kontakt? I doubt it.

Because superior drummer has all of the ekit drum presets, so I want to export that midi map and import it into kontakt…
Unless you have a utility in Kontakt drum library that will convert SD3’s format to its own, you won’t be able to import the drum preset maps.They are not MIDI files.
