I’m using Garageband for recording and writing purely because it allows me to collaborate with other band members who don’t have access to other software packages. I bought EZBass hoping I could take the fairly basic bass parts and lift them with slides, percussion, ghost notes etc in order to make it more realistic
I can access the plugin for EZBass easily enough and can see, for example, in the bass guitar screen the notes fretted on the picture of the modern/vintage basses but how can I edit the existing bass lines I’ve already created in GarageBand within the EZBass plugin? In the other screens such as grid editor or audio tracker it just appears blank.
Sorry if this is a simple question but hoping someone can help: in short, I’ve already created a bass track for a song in full but rather than reproducing it note by note I was hoping to just edit it using EZbass.
You need to get the MIDI into EZbass song track to be able to edit it there!
Now the MIDI will be recorded into EZbass, and when it’s done you can edit it in the Grid Editor etc.

I dont want to use the stand alone EZ bass to record the bass parts! I want to record them inside the DAW, and have EZ bass as a plug in for an Audio track. Please help me!
