I’m new pretty new to EXD and drum programming so struggling to get my head around some of the concepts.
I’ve got a wav of Ringo’s isolated drums on Ticket To Ride. I thought that if I imported that into the Bandmate tab I would get the equivalent midi but I just seem to get grooves inspired by that beat (none of which sound anything like it as far as I can tell but all interesting in their own right). I’ve seen a tutorial on EZB and a guy was playing guitar, and the EZB software did a pretty good job transcribing his part as a bass part but EZD doesn’t seem to work that way – is that correct?
This is the midi I want to end up with – is EZD the wrong tool?
All the best.
Patrick.
Superior Drummer 3 offers a feature called Tracker that allows for importing of audio files and converts them to MIDI.
The Bandmate feature in EZD3 allows you to import say, a guitar or keyboard or bass track and will offer drum parts that follow.

OK – so this can’t be done in EZ3? The manual refers to a ‘tracker tab’ but I can’t find it so I guess that is a typo in the manual.
Is there a way to get this drum notation into EZD3?
The grid is broken down into 16ths so I can’t see a way of having 6 notes spread evenly over that one quarter note?
Thanks for your help.

Try clicking the Resolution menu button in the Grid Editor tab and then select 1/16t. Now you should see a 1/16 note triplet grid (6 notes/quarter note), if not, zoom in a bit until the 1/16 triplet grid is visible.
