Hi Everyone,
I am not sure if this is the appropriate place to post, but I need some help. I recently bought Superior Drummer 3, and I am using it through BandLab’s Cakewalk DAW (formerly Sonar). I can load and use Superior Drummer in its standalone form, but my computer crashes every time I try to use it in my DAW. I also recently installed the drivers for an audio interface, a Scarlett 6i6, 2nd Gen.
At first, the error message I got was a stopcode that said “DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL” And below that it said “What Failed: portcls.sys”
So, a friend of mine told me it was a driver issue. I reinstalled the drivers for the Focusrite hardware, and then got this error stopcode: “SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION”
Any thoughts?
Hi,
it does not seem related to SD3 but points to hardware related problems.
I would check with Focusrite Support but also check if it’s a bad memory problem. And make sure all available Windows updates are applied.

John
