Here we are again. Another Update for Garageband (V 10.3.0 currently) and now all Toon Track Products can no longer be used as GB says “Audio Unit plug-in can’t be used. The Audio Unit “EZdrummer” could not be loaded for your project, and may need to be updated. Contact the manufacturer for an updated version or further assistance.” AND “Audio Unit plug-in can’t be used. The Audio Unit “EZmix” could not be loaded for your project, and may need to be updated. Contact the manufacturer for an updated version or further assistance.” Last time we had a sandbox patch that had to be used as a plug in each time we started a new session of GB until Toontrack was able to update. Is that what we are looking at again this time around?
Edit: Title should read “EZD2 and GarageBand V 10.3”
I, and I am sure many, many others, am having the same problem. Since we’ve been down this road before, I hope Toontrack has a strategy to deal with this. When I contacted Customer Support yesterday, I was informed that Toontrack were aware of the problem, but that an estimated time for a solution was not available.

Hi,
it seems the GarageBand 10.3 update has broken compatibility with all Toontrack plugins, so at this point, updating to 10.3 is not recommended.
I know that the coders have noticed the problem but there is no apparent reason why this update would break compatibility. Apple has to reply with some info.
Toontrack plugins are not the only ones affected apparently:
