Hello,
I repeatedly receive an “Error 1935” (see attached screenshot for details) when attempting to install EZKeys Retro Electrics (64-bit version). The error message seems to appear close to the end of the installation process. After the installer shows the files being copied, it then reads: “Publishing product information…”. It then hangs on that for message awhile before finally returning the Error 1935 message.
My system specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium; Service Pack 1
64-bit
2.2Ghz
3GB Ram
Things I’ve tried so far that have been unsuccessful:
– Repairing the .NET framework
– Running CCleaner and fixing registry errors
– Turning off virus software
On a side note, I also purchased EZMix2 and just installed the 64-bit version which seems to be functioning properly thus far. It’s only installing EZKeys that I’m having trouble with.
Hi,
after you repaired the .NET framework, did you restart your computer and run Windows update before you ran the installer again?

Hi John,
I had only rebooted at the time. Now that I’m attempting to run Windows Update per your suggestion, I’m discovering there seems to be some issue with my computer in that regard. When attempting to open the Windows Update window, I get an empty window and perpetual hourglass. I also notice in the system tray an icon indicating a backup in progress which I can’t turn off. So there’s definitely some issue with my Windows Backup functionality. Trying to figure out a fix for that so I can then run the update and try the installer again.
