Ensoniq Error 144

Anyone out there able to get Ezdrummer 2 MIDI out to Ensoniq SD 1 or TS 10. Even just a 4 measure High Hat sequence seems to overload and synth just freezes or Error 144

Just trying to improve existing sequences. Only once got a 2 bar sequence using Bandlab. No luck with Reaper. Are there a lot of cc going out?

Hi,

unless you yourself have recorded CC data to your EZdrummer 2 Song Track, there should be none.

BTW, if you indeed are using version 2.0.2, it is time to update. The current version is 2.1.8.

Will update but no, I’m just dragging Toontracks Midi

I drag  to Song  Editor bar

Click Edit Play Style

Cut all Midi except Cymbals

Save as User Midi

Open Reaper

Drag Midi’

I am almost 100% sure this is an Ensoniq issue as I know their buffer was very small, just wondering if anyone else got it to work.It plays through the synth but once Sequencer is involved overloads.

I know 😉 Ensoniq is as old as me but I hate using DAW for live.
