first of all thanks for this relearse. I have been waiting for something like this ever since the original Custom & Vintage expansion pack – just with a ‘modern’ level of articulations, and size of sample pool etc etc.

So this is very exciting.

I have a question which stems from this statement on the Toontrack page

The Clubhouse is so different than all modern-day studios. Not only are its rooms of great design, but it has a great Neve 8058 console and the choice of digital or analog.

Is Elliot Scheiner’s State of the Art SDX recorded straight to digital or is there an analog storage medium involved along the way, i.e. tape?

In summary: recorded to tape or straight to digital?

I’m super excited by this SDX. The kits are so well suited to the kind of music I typically make, it almost feels like Toontrack let me custom-spec an SDX just for me. I’m going to be buying a 3-pack bundle this week, and the whole reason I’m doing that is because I want State of the Art now and I figured I might as well grab a couple of others and get the good price while I’m at it.

You may want to think about also getting Death & Darkness – it’s not just for metal.
