Electronic kits in SD3 (and beats)

Hi!

Any tips on creating ready to go permanent kits out of the various electronic sounds that come with SD3?

Right now all I know how to do is replace off a beat, one by one (snare, hi hat etc). Would love to just be able to have various electronic kits ready.

Or just buy something like the NUMBER 1 HITS EZX?

Also, where can I get electronic beats?

You can take a kit, adjust it the way you want (change instruments, add stacks, add effects in the mixer etc) and then save it as a user Drums and Mixer Preset. You can create your own set of these kinds of presets.

Number 1 Hits EZX is a great product when working with electronic sounds. I use it a lot, check out the demos here.

Thanks! So what would be the added benefit of getting Number 1 Hits EZX if I can make my own kits on SD3? 🙂

Number 1 Hits will add more sounds, and has more pre-processed sounds (less fiddling, more creating music!). And you’ll also get MIDI files which are in the electronic genre.
