Electric sounds not triggering correctly

Hi first question how do I get out of forum topics? I keep getting emails for forum topics and have no idea why?

tried to unsubscribe in profile but nothing happens ?

Now the issue.. If I turn a floor Tom to a kick using acoustic sounds like the Pearl core kit the floor Tom triggers as it should

but if I do the same with an electric kick sound like 909v it will trigger correct on the kick ( once I raise the velocity gate? Not sure why ?. I must do this)  but on floor Tom it will not trigger the same as the kick trigger.   I have tried variations of ever setting with no change.   On the module it self i have none of theses issues.

1- why do the electric kick sounds need the velocity gate raised above 50 to trigger correct and acoustic sounds do not?

if not using velocity gate I get crazy false triggering.

2- why do the acoustic kicks trigger correct when place as a floor tom but the electric kicks do not?
