I’ve no experience with the Efnote but I do own the TD27 and can highly recommend it. I’ve been using it for over a year for remote sessions hand-in-hand with SD3 and it’s worked flawlessly. Obviously, there’s some dialing in to do and settings to tweak but once I was over that bump it’s been a great setup.

If I was buying for internal sounds then I’d go for the efnote but you are saying to play sd3 so I would go for the Roland. Make sure you get a module with enough trigger inputs as I see so many questions about splitting inputs for more pads or cymbals.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
