Edrum cymbal choke in VST

I have been an EZ Drummer and S2 user for a long time. I could never figure out cymbal chokes from my roland TD 15 KV in S2. I was delighted when I just selected Roland under Edrums in EZ Drummer 2. Works ok in standalone even if there is a bit of latency from when you grab cymbal. However when I load EZ 2 as vst in sonar, chokes no longer work with TD 15KV?

Any ideas? Thanks!!!

Check that Sonar isn’t filtering Aftertouch messages. Some hosts do that by Default.
