This may be a silly question, but…
I am trying to edit the midi files that I have dragged into pro tools from ezdrummer (editing kick and hi-hat patterns, etc.). Is there a way to prevent the edits that I am making in one area from being reflected in each instance of the midi file? For example, I want to subtly change the kick pattern in bar 4 of the verse, but when I do, all of the similar midi files change along with it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
