Would like a larger, full screen GUI and the ability to lighten colors on the song track and other areas. I am leaning on 62, and believe me it gets more and more difficult to see the small, dark stuff with age.
The ability to place event markers on the song track would also be a big plus. With most of the music I play on guitar I know when to change chords in unison with a drum routine playing on Easydrummer2, but with new song’s I’m learning it’s harder. If I had event markers on the drum song track it would allow me to see when a change in the guitar routine is coming.
I use Hydrogen to build my drum routines as Easydrummer doesn’t have the ability to custom build a drum track. I have had very little luck with the “Tap to Find.” After I’m happy with my work in Hydrogen, which has a less desirable computer based sound, I export the MIDI from Hydrogen into Easydrummer2 and start more editing there. I often have to go back and forth a few times making edits in Hydrogen and re-importing into Easydrummer2. It’s tedious, takes months sometimes working off and on, but my final drum tracks are pretty good. Just some inputs that I think would be helpful to me and other folks building drum routines.
