Since I don’t seem to be able to start a new thread for a bug I post it here instead !
When in the Groove Tab and dragging a groove down to the timeline and with a tempo other than 1x ( From the drop down menu ) the block becomes empty or half empty.
Superior Drummer 3 version: 3.2.2
Operating system: Windows 10I can’t reproduce this, it seems to be working correctly. Maybe it would help if you post a project file (zipped) and some more details on what you do (from where you drag and to where, maybe a screenshot).
How come you can’t you start a new thread? At the bottom of https://www.toontrack.com/forums/forum/superior-line/superior-drummer-3-help/ ?
It happens in both DAW and Stand Alone but the strangest thing is that it only affects certain grooves.
I’ve taken screenshots of every tempo modifier in the drop down menu so you can see what happens after dragging the groove to the timeline.
I have also provided the project files for both DAW and Stand Alone.
1/2x (Half Tempo)
1x (Default Tempo)
2x (Double Tempo)
2/3x (4/4 -> 6/8)
3/2 (6/8 ->4/4)
See attached a zip files
PS
I didnt see that the thread start was at the bottom !
They’re usually at the top !
Thanks

Thanks Tobbe! Yes, it can be reproduced with the MIDI in those projects, so we should be able to fix it.

As a workaround, you can drag it down with 1x tempo, then right-click the block and use the Change Tempo submenu (and manually adjust the block length afterwards).

I just tried that which resulted in an immediate crash when using Stand Alone version.
I’ve attached the crashdump that was generated by this action
Update:
Same issue in both DAW and Stand alone!
Affects all types of grooves !

Ah, Change Tempo uses the same defect function that causes the Song Creator to crash. 🙁 That’s unfortunate. Sorry.

I have been able to reproduce the crash consistently, in Studio One 5 Pro Version and SD3 3.2.2. The steps that led to the first crash and others:
Just wanted to provide more information for Toontrack in case it helps solve this problem.
Thanks.
Version 3.2.3 is out, it fixes all these crashes.
