dump files happening when i use song creator after installing 3.22 update

every time i drop a midi sample from superior drummer into the song creator i get the midi dump message and it closes superior drummer after installing 3.22, it was working great before the update. thanks

i also noticed no issue in ezdrummer just superior drummer, it seems to not have issue with some libraries and on many but not all of the song structure ie AAA, or 12 bar

i uninstall 3.22 and everything worked again concerning song creator, but could not get to my superior native drum midi until I reinstalled 3.22 again with its problems with song creator. thanks

Can you zip and attach one of the actual dump files? It will help the programmers with identifying the issue.

There is no attachment. Make sure you zip it to attach it.

Same here !

 

Lots of dump files generated here.

3,22 is crashing a lot on my system ( WIN 10 Pro ).

It crashes Studio One 5 and I have to restart my DAW.

It occurs when I am working with “Edit Play Style” and the “Song Creator”

Been trying to make it happen for the last half hour and it’s typically steady as a rock 🙂

Can’t seem to reproduce it !

The only thing I know I have changed is that I uninstalled and reinstalled my graphic drivers due to my desktop icons changed places every time I started my PC.

But the Song Creator issue is still there.

But here is another issue:

I have a dual monitor setup and when I use the grid editor in SD3 on the right screen the cursor (or Playhead) in Studio One 5 occasionally freezes on the left screen.

when I place a midi file into the superior drummer song creator and choose a song structure, some, but not all of the available structure’s will lock the computer and cause the midi dump  message (error) and causing superior drummer to close

i was assured by a toontrack tech, by email, that they were aware of the issue and were working on a fix

Hi Kevin,

The programmer can confirm this is a bug in 3.2.2. SD3 crashes if you click on a song structure preset if any of the grooves that would be used in the song is shorter than the space where it would be placed (so that the MIDI block would have to be repeated to fill the space).

Yes, there will be a fix in the next update for SD3, however, we do not have an ETA on that update release just yet.

Since I don’t seem to be able to start a new thread  for a bug I post it here instead !

When in the Groove Tab and dragging a groove down to the timeline and with a tempo other than 1x ( From the drop down menu ) the block becomes empty or half empty.

I can’t reproduce this, it seems to be working correctly. Maybe it would help if you post a project file (zipped) and some more details on what you do (from where you drag and to where, maybe a screenshot).
