Hi,
I have never tried with dual partitions on Mac, actually. On my studio PC I have two partitions with XP on both and the computer ID stays the same on both partitions, but I can’t really say what’ll happen on a Mac with XP and OS X. Should you lose any authorization we can always restore them upon request.

I haven’t tried dual-boot with 2 different OS types…. I have 2 versions of OS X on an iMAC that boot independently (1 for ‘production’ work and the other for testing and evaluation of software), but as the host hardware is essentially the same (other than the system drive) it does not take a second authorization to run Toontrack software.

I think most software that uses challenge and response methods to register and activate use the Nic card Identifier. If ToonTrack uses this method it could work on both sides XP and OS X. I would think having the same computer name would help as well in case they use more then one naming convention on the PC and compare them.
