Drums of Destruction “you need to install the required sampler software” error

I am using EZ Drummer 2, and it is up to date. Drums of Destruction is listed as needing EZ Drummer 2 or Superior Drummer 3. My plug-ins live on an external SSD to save space

Operating system: macOS Sonoma (14)

In this case, try and reinstall EZD2 from the separate 2.2.3 software update in the Product Manager. Once installed please try and install the EZX then. Does the same thing happen after reinstalling EZD2 2.2.3?

This occured. I’ve moved my Toontrack folder back onto my desktop to try again. Still didn’t work. I’m redownloading “EZdrummer for macOS 10.6 or above” version 2.1.8, because that’s the original one that I downloaded in 2018 and is under the Product Manager. Ableton is able to find the folder though. I can open EZdrummer as an AU.

I’ve attached the contents of that folder. The “EZdrummer” file is empty.

 

FINAL UPDATE: FIXED

Reinstalled intial download

Turned helper tool back on via terminal

Updated everything

Installed new drum pack
