Hi,
I have just buy DRUMS OF DESTRUCTION, when I export in Cubase nothing, everything works fine except DRUMS OF DESCTRUCTIION DRUM KIT!!!
When I open it in Cubase says: The following EZX(s) have been excluded since they require a new version of EZdrummer: Drums of Destruction requires 2.1.7
What version number shows on the EZD2 interface?

Ok, in stand alone i have 2.1.7 version, but in cubase i have 2.1.4 version and i dont know hov to update in cubese. Ihave try in MENU, CHECK FOR UPDATES, and i have option download 2.1.7 but when i click on it it offers to download product manager which i already have it. In product manager i have successfuly update EZdrummer, but for some reason i cant in Cubase. Please help….
What version is Cubase? Is it 64-bit or 32-bit? You can check the install location for the standalone from the Help menu and set that path in Cubase.

I have the same problem, what is going on with the update?
What version number shows on your EZD2 interface? Has the ezdrummer.dll been moved manually since it was first installed?

Me too, i buy this product today, and after the updates, nothing…
It’s the first time i have a problem with a product of EZ drummer.
Help us please.
I keep asking questions like ‘what version number shows on the EZD2 interface’ and ‘has the ezdrummer.dll been moved manually since it was first installed’ and there have been no answers from anyone in this thread. I’m not sure how I can help without the answers to those questions.

YES I FINALLY DID IT!!!
The first of all we need to knew which system we us, 32 bit or 64 bit, it is very important!
That should work.

- Copy ezdrummer.dll file (it should be where you download EZdrummer 2, try Common Files)
- Program Files(86)
- Steinberg ( if you use Cubase )
- Cubase
- VST Plugins and copy ezdrummer.dll file (in to VST Plugins)
That should work.
No. This is bad advice. If you manually move the .dll from its original install location, it will break any future updates as the updates won’t find the .dll.
What you should do is set the path to the installed plugin location in Cubase. Or, uninstall EZD2 and do a custom install and select the location you want there.
