Drummer recording midi using SD3. Will that midi work on SSD5?

I have a drummer on a electronic kit recording through midi using SD3. If I take that kit and want to try out kits using SSD5 will it work?

Hi,

setting up a MIDI Mapping Preset for incoming SSD5 MIDI to be played back correctly is doable but if you are thinking about previewing the output from SD3 through SSD5, it will not work as expected.

Ah that’s too bad. I wish it was easier to go back and forth. How do I create a preset incoming midi using SD3?
