Drum kit vs MIDI region

Hi,

I got something I’ve been wondering about that I’ve been trying to prove to no avail.

If I turn off one of the toms or the crash, then I’m trying to search for a MIDI that fit my song, will it only shows the one without the kit that I turned off, or it will automatically modify the playing style? Such as those that I turned off won’t be hit. Got the point?

I hope anybody can help me with this.

MIDI search is independent of the kit pieces enabled. It is based on the criteria that you enter in the search filter or the rhythm you enter in the tap to find. Missing pieces are either not played or substituted with another kit piece.

Are you saying that you would want kit pieces that you deliberately silenced to play? That would be a bug since the deliberate silencing is your own choosing.

No. You got me on the first reply. I was wondering if the kit that I disabled in my custom preset will still be played as a silence because I disabled it.
