    Hi,

I am not sure I understand your question properly but EZkeys can play back User or 3rd party MIDI and if you enable the MIDI out in the plugin, you can send MIDI from the EZkeys plugin to other plugins in your DAW. The exact procedure differs slightly between DAWs.

I think you answered sufficiently. I’m thinking of buying some B3 and brass MIDI files, and wanted to make sure that EZKeys could trigger the B3. I thought it would, since I downloaded a demo of a VST B3 and it worked, but that was a full-fledged VST instrument and I wanted to make sure it would work with simple MIDI files.

As long as you understand that MIDI is only data; information of which note gets hit, how long and how hard (to simplify it) – the B3 MIDI files do not make EZKeys Studio Grand sound like a B3.
    Just to be clear.

I’m loading the B3 MIDI files into EZKeys, then using that to drive a B3 VST. Actually works pretty well.
