Drawing new midi notes does not trigger any sound

Adding a couple of new beats by drawing them into an existing EZDrummer clip.  When I manually click the midi note/beat I hear the appropriate drum beat (i.e. a kick), but when playing the clip the beat does not trigger/sound.

EZdrummer version: 2.2.3
Operating system: Windows 11

Hi,

could you please elaborate?
Since you can’t pencil in notes in EZdrummer 2, I must assume you are doing this in a DAW; which one?
If EZdrummer is on an Instrument Track, is the MIDI output from that Track properly routed to the EZdrummer 2 plug-in?
Are there any kind of real-time properties applied to the track, like Transpose?

Yes in my Daw (Cakewalk), which I normally have no problem doing on any other midi tracks or midi virtual instrument tracks except for EZdrummer.

I’ll re-check the midi output, but initially set up the track as a standard insert instrument track insert which typically routs things properly.

No real time properties/fx on the track.

I can grab a couple of screen shots if that will help?

OK, please do.

I take it clicking on the drums in the EZD2 interface produces sound as well?
It does seem like a setup problem in the DAW but let’s see if we can make anything out of your screen shots.
