Aloha All,
For the “first time,” dragging grooves from SD3, EZBass and EZKeys to a Logic Pro MIDI track has caused Logic Pro to crash.
Over and over again.
Dr. Google and Dr. A.I. suggested, among other fixes, having Logic Pro open in Rosetta.
This seems to work.
(As I learned: go2 Applications; option-click on Logic; Get Info; look carefully and you’ll see an “Open in Rosetta” option to select)
Which begs the questions…
- Are Toontrack products (SD3, EZKeys, EZBass) not Silicon adapted?
- Do macOS updates make dragging grooves to Logic midi tracks problematic?
- Is Toontrack working on this?
Curious.
For the time being, the Rosetta Solution seems to be working.
When the Rosetta option disappears — in 2027 I gather — I hope Toontrack products will be ready.
Onwards!
