Dragging MIDI block into DAW does not work

Hi,

just bought EZD2. When I try to drag the MIDI blocks into the grid in FL Studio 10, it only creates an empty audio track. There are notes in the piano roll in the pattern as you can see in the picture, but when I play it it’s just silence.

Anyone encountered this? Thank you for your suggestions.

*I tried to run FL as admin as suggested by the support team, did not help.

Hi,

I am running FL Studio 20.8.2 and while I may not be doing this the best/optimal way, with the EZdrummer 2 Channel selected, I hit F4 to create my new Pattern, name it e.g. ‘Intro’ and then drag the MIDI from EZdrummer 2 to the Channel and drop it when there’s a green halo around the Channel Rack Name.
Next I hit F4 again to create and name my new Pattern, e.g. ‘Verse’ and drag from EZdrummer 2 again to the Channel.
