I’ve tried this with multiple DAWs by draggning in a midi event from the timeline into the plugin but it never works.
Instead, I have to manually add each chord one chord at a time by clicking the plus button and then selecting the right cord from the chord selector.
This gets really old really fast.
Is there something I am missing?
You can drag MIDI into EZkeys. The problem is that most hosts doesn’t support drag and drop from the host. You can try if your host can do this by dragging a MIDI file from the host to your desktop. If it works – it’s supported.
In the cases where the host doesn’t support drag and drop from the host – record enable EZkeys and play the MIDI from the host. The MIDI will be recorded to the song track of EZkeys. This is often easier than exporting the MIDI from the host, then importing it to EZkeys…
