Hi all,
First of all, what a great plugin EZbass is! I cannot wait to see EZguitar being released. 😉
Then onto my problem: I try to drag and drop recorded wav files into EZbass from/within cubase 10. I simply cannot get it done for some reason. I try to run cubase as administrator but it will not allow me to do this.
Midi files work fine, just recorded audio that does not work.
Anyone?
Thanks in advance!
If the DAW allows dragging and dropping audio/MIDI from itself to a plugin, EZbass supports it. If it doesn’t, the DAW doesn’t allow it. Not all DAWs permit those actions.

Thanked by: RobertPlease – I hope they never try to replace playing guitar in an app like EZ Bass. There are several Guitar apps that piano players try to emulate as guitar players, but they never quite work out that well. As an experienced guitarist, that is why they can’t replace us. There are too many variations on one note, let alone bends, and touch, and pull-ons, chord pairs into sliding – the list is endless.
It’s like trying to actually play fiddle or violin. An they only play no more than 2 notes at one time.
Even what position on the neck it changes the way a guitar melody or pattern makes it so unique.
Please – learn to play guitar – not another digital synth supposed to sound like it can be one.
Just my Opinion
wow thanks, this totally solved it.. lol
But seriously, they patented the name EZguitar so it is coming.
And thanks for the preach.. i would love to “learn to play guitar” but it so hard with just one hand.

Thanks though!
Robert,
needless to say I did not know you only had one hand. I might have a couple of solutions for you, but do not want to continue assuming anything else about your unique situation without more information.
If you would like to discuss your musical situation further, I would be happy to chat with you.
There are some apps for guitar playing on a midi keyboard already available and I tried them myself to see if they would work until Toontrack comes up with a solution for you. They are not going to replace actually playing a guitar, but could help you out. Having one hand on any instrument would be very hard.
You can send me a message to mmwebmarketing@gmail.com if you want to talk.
Best of luck,
Richard
