It’s a bummer you can’t drag your regions into the tracker window in Logic. You have to grab from the finder or logic browser unless I’m missing something. Anyway I can’t get my SD3 playback to sync up with logic even when follow host is engaged and the file is dragged to the start. I have to scoot the MIDI to make it line up which is not ideal because I want to audition it in the mix. What am I missing and is there anyone who has this workflow in Logic super wired that can share their wisdom please? As a long time Slate Trigger user I’m looking for something that is next level for drum replacement mainly. I don’t care too much about being able to compose or play e drums. Thanks!
Aside from AU’s being sandboxed, Logic’s internal audio format is a 32-bit float CoreAudio format which most instrument plugins do not read.
Superior Drummer 3’s tracker is not region based as far as audio input. It’s track based, so if you want to audition your drums in the mix, you would need to create an entire drum reference track(s) spanning the entire song and import them into the tracker. From there you can break off the sections into regions.
