    Hi,

are the downloaded ZIP archives fully extracted before you try run the installers? Right-click and ‘Extract all..’.

Yes, that was the first thing I did after getting the error message. Even extracted I get the same message.

Okay this is driving me insane now. I finally got metal guitar gods to download and now it will not let me authorize it. Says the server is down and to try offline authorization. When I try and do that it has some computer ID I don’t recognize and wont let me change it. All my products are registered on the same computer. When I look up my ezmix2 authorization it is not showing authorized. I did authorize it, it was successful and is fully functioning. What is going wrong? I have never had this much trouble authorizing my products until I bought and loaded this ezmix2.

The offline authorization dialog for the EZmix pack does not show any computer ID. It shows the serial number of your authorized EZmix 2. If that is not the correct serial that you own, you should contact support so they can send you a tool that lets you remove the EZmix 2 authorization from your computer so that you can re-authorize EZmix 2 with the correct serial. Only after that you will be able to authorize the pack.

It’s not the EZmix2 that’s the problem. It’s registered and works fine. My ezmix 1 stuff is there, ezmix metal and ezmix2 as well. It shows metal guitar gods too. When I launch it and try to open Metal guitar gods it asks for my serial number. Which I put in and email and password. It gives the message about the authorization server being down and to authorize offline. As soon as I do that it has some serial number in there that I can’t change. The serial number that toontrack shows in my products is not the same as what is in the off line authorization box and I cant change it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing. I have never run into this problem before.

In your account all looks Authorized now, so I presume it worked out?

HI – I am getting the same problem but I don’t understand the comment you made about how you solved it. Can you clarify please? I have saved the download file, then extracted it using the correct unzipper but I’m getting the same error messages.

Are you getting the ‘can’t load config’ error? Please contact support as Olof wrote above.
