    Thanks for the quick response. I watched the video and realize that I have to open it for the 1st time in order to get my computer ID. My problem is that I can’t open it up because it does not show up in my plugins on the track.

    You can always use Toontrack Solo to authorize. It is a free download from your Toontrack account.

    Once you’re authorized, we can continue over on the EZdrummer support forum if you’re still having problems with getting EZD opened in PT. There may already be threads over there that will solve the problem. Also, please fill in your system specs on your member profile page so we can get an idea of why system you’re running.

    I downloaded toontrack solo and I can open it up but it does not ask me for authorization.
    I also still can’t even find ezdrummer on my computer.

    You said we could continue in the support forum, but I thought this is the support forum?

    Did I maybe not install ezdrummer properly? Do I have to also extract the files that I downloaded that I still can’t find?

    After you downloaded the EZdrummer.exe, did you click on it to run the extractor? The extractor will extract the installer to the same location as the EZdrummer.exe is located so I would recommend downloading it to your desktop so the installer will be extracted to the desktop and not some temporary internet location. Once the installer is extracted you then need to install the plugin.

    If you have run the installer (not just extracted the installer) is ‘EZdrummer’ listed in Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel in Win XP?

    This is the EZdrummer Pre-sales forum. Once you have authorized EZD, the Support forums will then be ‘unlocked’ for you (after you’ve logged out and logged back in). But, let’s get you installed and authorized.

    Thank you for your help. I am now up and running. That was the key was to save it to the desktop then run the ezdrummer installer from there. I am really thankful that you responded so quick now I can bring up any issues in the Support forum.
