double bass drum midi transferability

hello  all.  so, if i create a new kick drum in the core library of SD3, how do i get it to be triggered by double bass midi files from metal machinery? It seems to bunch all the notes onto 1 kick.

Hi,

the Left Kick (Kick 2) is triggered by MIDI note #35(#34). If you play back MIDI with that note but only one Kick drum present, substitution will kick in and re-route those MIDI hits to Kick 1. If you ad another Kick, make sure it has got MIDI note #35 assigned to it.
