Win/10/ Nuendo 12/ SD3 latest……………
So I have a song recorded live off the floor. No click track. It does not not start on Bar 1, but I snapped all the drum tracks to the start of the first hit.
I import the files and tweak the way I like, using Progressive Foundry SDX Lib. All groovy, sounds great.
This is what I tried:
Using the original OH track I created a tempo map in Nuendo. Imported it into SD3. I imported this before I brought in the tracks. I did it both ways in fact.
Bounced the files the way I wanted. Import them to Nuendo’s timeline, line them up manually. It starts out in time then within 3-4 bars drifts out. Buy the end of the song its out buy about 2 bars or so.
I also tried no tempo track. Same result. Yes I had the include midi tempo box checked. I tried it both ways. I even started from scratch doing it all over. Same results.
I’m confused, I just assumed if it was replacing sounds that the timing would be the same on a direct bounce after lining them back up.
What am I missing here?
Thanks
Problem solved/ I was missing a single time signature change in the middle of the tempo track.
