Hi, I’m new on SD3 and on these forums, and somehow I can’t put my hand on the search function for this forum. Isn’t there any ??
Anyway, I play a Yamaha DTX950K, (DTX900 module), the hihat pad is the RHH135. I’m really struggling to get decent sounding open hats.
Seing how the RHH135 is built, I gave up on the idea of having 6 increments of openness, and thought I’d try with 3, which seems to be what the module is doing on its own. But even with 2 increments, let alone 3, I’m struggling to have a consistent open hats, it seems to always stutter between samples.
If anyone successfully uses this setup, I would be really grateful if you could share a screenshot of your Hihat pedal settings in SD3. I tried almost everything on the HH Pedal CC Control settings in SD3, and also tried playing around with FootClosePosition and SplashLens settings in the DTX, but nothing very convincing so far.
So I need help, because this is a massive showstopper for me so far.
