Do I Free up disk space in the Product manager?

    If it’s a Mac and the disk is in APFS format and you have both downloaded and installed to this disk, it means that the installation went very fast because the files were duplicated without taking up any more space – that’s a feature of APFS. Deleting the downloaded files will then not actually free up any disk space even though the files are that large – because the installed files are still “pointing to” the same space.

    Hi there,

    While I downloaded and installed the SD3 VST3 on my Mac’s hard drive, I downloaded all libraries (Part 1-4 plus bleed and Jazz Sessions pack) to an external SSD. Hence, all libraries and installers are in the same folder on the external SSD. So I assume I shouldn’t use the “clear disc space” feature and simply remove the installers manually? I don’t want to risk deleting the libraries and having to download them again (which is taking ages).
