Title says it all really.
Wondering if I buy EZX packs such as Jazz EZX to use in SD3, do I get the full benefit of using the Amount control in the Edit Play Style page to vary the groove throughout a song?
Does it all work the same as with native SD3 midi packs?
And secondly, is there going to be a fully fledged SD3 version of Jazz EZX? Or even just a midi pack with these groove?
SD3 is lacking in native 3/4 swings for a start.
Regards,
Yes, the MIDI from EZXs can be adjusted via the Edit play style.
There is an SDX version of the Jazz EZX. It’s called the Roots SDX and is actually split into 2 separate SDXs. Roots Sticks SDX and Roots Brushes, Rods, and Mallets SDX.

Thansk for the clarificaon.
However, EZX Jazz appears to be a completely separate specification from the Roots stuff.
When I search Roots on the SD3 web browser previews, it only contains 4/4 midi. No 3/4, 5/8 or 6/8 as is found in the EZX Jazz, and these are important to me.
Or have I misuderstood?

Are you asking about the MIDI only? The Roots SDX and the Jazz EZX sounds libraries were most definitely taken from the same sound recordings. The MIDI is unique and has no duplicates.
