Hi! My name is William Gaboury and I have been a devoted user of SDX for 10 years now. The new upgrade is awesome don’t get me wrong.
But why showing midi numbers instead of notes? For exemple: In the drop down menu “MIDI Mapping” we can see all of the articulations labeled with numbers _ Hihat Closed Edge 22 _ Hihat Tight Edge 62.
In the SDX2, they were all labeled with a note and and the proper octave. I understand that we have the option of showing “MIDI Mapping Keys”.
Even though when a key is used it is labeled with a number and only one shade of blue. That makes it very hard to track when you cannot see white and black keys across the “board”
From manual 15th march 2019 page 53
“MIDI Mapping Menu: In the MIDI Mapping Property Box menu its possible to
change the way that notes are displayed, either as Note Numbers or as Key
Names. It should be mentioned that there are a few different conventions used
throughout the pro audio community for Note Key Names, meaning middle C may
not be located in the same octave in Superior Drummer 3 as it is in your DAW. In
this case it is best to use note numbers as these will always be the same across
all platforms.”
So there is a menu option there as your screenshot show.
Show note number or show keys.
But this is in 3.1.4 – update your install maybe.

Thanked by: william GabouryIt’s also in 3.1.2, but yes, it wouldn’t hurt to update.
