Is there a way for the SD3 standalone program to display in minutes/seconds how long my drum track is? It’s such a useful piece of software for composing, but a massive oversight if it’s not possible to see how long my track is once I’ve got my drums down?
Also, I’ve been having an odd thing happen where i’ll be working in a certain tempo, let’s say 75bpm, and as expected, all the grooves from the groove library playback in my current tempo which is great – however yesterday after about an hour of it working fine, suddenly all of the previews within the groove library were playing back super fast! And I didn’t have the ‘play original tempo’ button clicked either!
Any help on either of these would be hugely appreciated.
I’ll take a note on displaying time as a feature request. It’s a good idea, but haven’t been implemented yet – mostly because shortage of time from our side…
The BPM issue sounds strange, I don’t think we have gotten any reports of it before.
– Did it occur when you ran Superior on it’s own (standalone), or in a DAW?
– Can you reproduce it? That would be the best scenario for us, since it’s easier to track whats going on in that case…

Thanks, Henrik! Yeah, it would definitely be incredibly useful to see the time, as i’m sure many other users would agree! Obviously it’s not as important when running within Logic as I can see the time within that.
As for the BPM issue, yes it was when running the standalone version – but it’s not something I can recreate on command. It has only happened to me once (so far) and nothing in particular seemed to trigger it.. I just remember pressing play on a groove to preview it and wondering why it sounded like it was going around 200BPM (in a 75BPM project!)
Thanks for your response 🙂
Thanks for the info. If it happens again, please report it so we can try to recreate that scenario!

I would definitely love to have that option as well and it’s the reason I found this thread.
Please add this feature!
Thanks!
Yup, I came here looking for the same answer. Where’s the time code? Not an issue when using in a DAW but standalone mode it’s a missing feature.
Also would love to see this!
I typically track my drums in standalone (for lowest latency), then bring into DAW once finished.
