There is no global “turn off all Aftertouch” setting, but we might be able to help you anyway.

    • What e-drums/hardware are you using?
    • Can you open the MIDI Monitor property box (right side of the Drums tab), hit a cymbal and see what Aftertouch values you get, and report it here?

    Using a Launchpad X.

Ah, I think I see where you’re going with this. Unfortunately no unique midi value is mapped. Just the same one as the normal hit.

Doesn’t matter… easy enough to turn it off from the hardware and back on when I need it.

Can you raise the gate value of the aftertouch so that it will trigger with a more intentional press of the pad?

I do this on my Maschine controllers so that I don’t trigger a mute tail after hitting the pad hard.

Make the “Choke/Mute Trigger” property box visible, select the cymbals and you can turn off aftertouch for them.

With my EZDrummer 2 expansion loaded in SD3, I got this message : This Property Box only works with instruments having a mute tail articulations, so I’m unable to inactivate “aftertouch” like I saw it was easy to do in some video. So what can I do ? ‘Cause those unwanted choked ride cymbal hit drive me crazy.
