[Digital Performer] User can’t record EZ Midi

    Selecting the Instrument track assigned to EZdrummer, you should be able to ‘Freeze’ the track. although this will only work (to the best of my knowledge) for stereo instruments (as opposed to multi channel). Check DP doc for details.

    Alternatively you could change the output of the track to a Bus and record the bus output to an audio track. Make sure you’re not routing anything to that bus however or you’ll get more than the drums recorded (unless you mute them).

    The same procedure can be used to record the drums to their own track once you have them on separate aux tracks, just route and record to multiple busses. The following is one example of how this can be achieved (tracks have not been renamed so you can see what type of tracks are used):

    Thanks for posting the picture with explanation. I just received DP6 AND EZDrummer and I couldn’t figure out how to get the multichannel output to work. I followed what you had in the picture and now i can output the AUX to stereo out .. and then when it comes time to bounce, i can now write the audio. Thanks so much.
