In order to preview a groove using the EZPlayer w/ Superior Drummer I have to record arm a midi track w/ EZPlayer as the output and then listen to the grooves. The problem is I cannot play any other instrument linked to my controller keyboard while I am previewing the grooves because the midi track linked to EZPlayer is set to record. W/ EZDrummer as well as BFD, Addictive Drums ets. I am able to play along with the grooves I am previewing. This is important because playing along w/ the grooves is how I determine which ones to use. Is there a way I can preview grooves in EZplayer w/ Sup Drummer2 while still being able to play another instrument in Digital Performer? Thanks for your help
do you mean that you wish to control another instrument from an external controller or that you are routing MIDI out the box to trigger a hardware sound source?
regardless that can be achieved in Digital Performer by selecting Studio > Multi record and setting the MIDI input/output on your MIDI tracks as appropriate.
