maybe i am mistaken, but for some reason i remember superior drummer 2 having a way to trigger different articulations depending on the velocity. for example, a velocity below 60 on a snare rim triggers a cross stick, and above 60 triggers a rimshot. is this possible in sd3? i cant seem to find it anywhere.
Hi,
You can stack different articulations together, then use the velocity gate (slider) to indicate the velocity range, each particular articulation will be triggered at. If you don’t see velocity gate in the side panel, select “Show” on the top right of the “Drums” tab/window and select “Velocity Gate”.
Hope this helps.
